The 'A' sizes are very convenient as each one, going larger, is twice the size of the previous size. For example A4 is twice the size of A5. It is metric inspired as A0 is one square metre. The old fashioned inch sizes had lovely names but little size relationship. In India also, different shops follow different sizes. Australian 10 should be Indian 34 or 32 (Shopper Stop is 32). I do not remember exactly but in Pantaloons and some other departmental store I think it was 34. But better to try it on as I got 2 different sizes from the same shop. Jane...
